CARO CULT
Caro was born in Hannover, Germany. As a child, she attended a free drama school for children and adolescents, which sparked an early interest in drama and the performing arts. Following her graduation from secondary school, she moved to Berlin to embark on a career as an actress. She soon appeared in her first major on-screen role in Anika Decker's film HIGH SOCIETY where she played the character of ‘Aura’ alongside German stars Iris Berben, and Katja Riemann. Other film work followed including: the third season of neo-noir crime drama BABYLON BERLIN for Sky, directed by Tom Tykwer; MEIN LOTTA-LEBEN, and NIGHTLIFE directed by Simon Verhoeven; television crime series ERZGEBIRGSKRIMI; as ‘Ira’ in the drama DER KROATIEN-KRIMI; and the role of ‘Jule Gajewski’ in the popular German series TATORT, which was directed by Hüseyin Tabak. Caro played the key role of ‘Lotta von Fürstenberg’ in the both seasons of the technological thriller series BIOHACKERS for Netflix, which was written and directed by showrunner Christian Ditter. She played the lead role of ‘Paula’ in the arthouse friendship drama FÜR JOJO, which was directed by Barbara Ott for Netflix. Caro’s upcoming work includes the comedy feature DAS BESTE KOMMT NOCH.
